Timeless. This was the theme for the “piece de resistance” of my graphic design schooling. This poster had to incorporate everything we had learned throughout the year while staying true to our favourite time in design history. My choice was the Bauhaus era. This is exemplified by the usage of simple shapes to spell out the main message “VCD” (Visual Communications Design). Next is the colour choice of the printing primaries cyan, magenta, and yellow against the mellow blue background. To end it off, the typography at the bottom is clean, shows obvious visual hierarchy, and contrasts to the rest of the poster. Definitely one of my most proud works.
