Postcards are not big. It also doesn’t help that this medium is one of the most widely discarded and ignored form of print. With that in mind, it is a difficult task to create a message that someone will spend more than a few seconds looking at, but will understand in less than a few seconds. Sounds like a paradox, I know, but bare with me. My goal was to have the viewer look at a simple infographic with a powerful message visually and typographically, then guide their eye to the call-to-action at the bottom (being to share their story on social media through an ad campaign). The minimal usage of colour, clear typography, and flat graphics all contribute to a strong postcard design.
